I started my career as the first marketer at a growing software company. There was no established marketing function to inherit. I learned by building one: figuring out what the business needed, doing the work, and creating the team and systems around it as the company grew.
That experience shaped the kind of marketing leader I became. I've always had a player-coach mentality. I love the strategy, but I also want to understand how the work gets done. I believe the best marketing leaders can move between the boardroom and the details, knowing when to challenge the direction and when to roll up their sleeves.
Over the past 15+ years, I've built and led marketing organizations through growth, acquisitions, integration, leadership change, and the sale of a business.
Those experiences taught me that scaling marketing isn't just about generating more leads. It's about building the right organization around the business: the people, positioning, processes, technology, and priorities that allow growth to continue.
I've worked inside the business, alongside executive teams, and with investors. I've seen what happens when marketing scales well, and where things start to break when the organization grows faster than the strategy or systems around it.
That perspective is what I bring to every Offload engagement.
That has been true throughout my career.
I can sit with a CEO and work through organizational design, investment
decisions, or go-to-market strategy, then turn around and work alongside
the team responsible for making it happen.
I'm not interested in strategy that only works on a slide. I want to know whether the team can execute it, whether the systems support it, and whether it actually makes sense for the stage of the business.
Offload was built around that philosophy: senior enough to see the whole picture, close enough to the work to know whether it's actually going to work.
I'm a marketer, advisor, builder, speaker, and mom of two. I care deeply about doing ambitious work without pretending work exists in isolation from the rest of life.
I built Offload because I wanted to create a different kind of career and, eventually, a different kind of company: one built around great people, meaningful work, and the freedom to choose both deliberately.
I'm endlessly curious about how companies grow, how leaders make decisions, and how technology is changing the way we work. Most of my best conversations start somewhere in that territory.
Whether you need an outside perspective, experienced marketing leadership, or someone to challenge your thinking, I'd love to hear what you're building.
